The film proposal we as a group decided would
be physiological thriller that is based on a teenage girl who has an evil split
personality. The narrative structure would be non-linear as it would show
flashbacks from the past in attempt to explain what had triggered off her split
personality. The settings that we decided to use are her house, mainly her
bedroom to give a more personal ambience and also conventional places such as a
graveyard and an isolated park. The type of sounds we will be using will be
diegetic as they will be mainly heavy breathing and screams; this is
conventional in horror films. The non diegetic sounds that will be used will be
slow, eerie music that will enhance the tense atmospheres we will create
throughout. We will be filming this conventionally using a tripod and sometime
hand held when doing certain canted angles and jolted shots. Our intended
target audience is teenagers of both genders this is because the age
certificate will be 15 and they will be the people that will relate to the main
characters age group.
